Featherdale Wildlife Park

Featherdale Wildlife Reservation was awesome.  Looking at the pictures we posted you can see that Matt and I got to touch the Kangaroos, Wallabies (these are the smaller ones) and we fed the Momma Kanga and her Roo that was snoozing in her pouch.  THAT was the wildest thing to see!  We got up close with the koalas and Matt even held a native Australian bird (I forget the name but it was a type of owl).  We heard loud and clear the Kookaburra birds..  The birds down here make so much noise, it must be mating season!
